Read “Dear Santa” Letters
Hundreds of thousands of “Dear Santa” letters from very needy children arrive in post offices across America each Christmas season. These are children who would love to have a toy or the latest electronic gadget, but their needs are much more basic.
They are asking for Santa to not forget them like he did last year. They are sharing tales of extreme family economic hardship. These are children who as asking Santa for gifts of warm clothing and shoes, rain boots, school supplies, food, a job for mom, and very basic personal care items such as deodorant, toothpaste and even toilet paper!
